The Graduate Experience

Firstly, congratulations as you approach your final semester in your allied health degree! Whether you have been studying Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology transitioning into the workforce is an exciting time.

National OT will be running our graduate program and will be taking applications across metro and regional VIC, NSW, QLD, WA and SA. The benefit of community practice is that your location dosen’t matter! Your will be allocated within your area and you have the flexibility to work from home or from our office hubs.

Whats on offer at National OT

Supportive Induction Program – High levels of clinical supervision offered for 12 months for all new graduate roles. Our twelve week intensive induction will set you up for success. You will be supported by a team leader and a clinical supervisor. You will have a plan to follow each day that will involve learning throughout online modules and our ongoing access to all our learning resources

Shadowing – A valuable part of our induction program is the opportunity for our graduates to shadow experienced therapists to their appointments.

Group supervision and clinical specialists – Engage in Group supervision with a range of clinical experts to develop skills in particular areas.

Professional Development – Our professional development programme includes learning modules which are delivered by experts both internally and externally. National OT also supports time off and costs to attend PD relevant to your role

Application process

Step 1 – Submit Application by uploading your CV and Cover-Letter outlining your suitability for the role. Please address the ‘HR Team’ in your Cover-Letter. 

Step 2 – Application Review will take place if your CV meets the selection criteria, our HR Team will contact with you to arrange an interview. 

Step 3 – Interview will take place whereby you will be asked to share your knowledge gained to date and highlight your skills and experiences. 

Step 4 – Employment Screening will require that you provide your references and if successful, undertake a Police check. 

Step 5 – Employment Offers will be issued to our new Graduates from September 2020!
